Another type of disease that affects palms such as coconut palm trees are leaf blight.  This is where there are yellow or brown spots on the leaf.This will start to kill the leaves as it spreads throughout the palm.The way that works best is to make sure you prune all the areas that are affected.Another thing you will want to do is use fungicide and also give it more iron. Not having enough iron is one reason that it happens, so to help it, add nutrients.
