Three top things you must do to your car

Maintaining their car is one of the most neglected things that people must do.But when you think about that is not the right thing to do.After all, you spent a lot of money in buying it so you might as well take care of it so that you get the most out of it.So you really have to maintain it.Especially since not making it undergo maintenance would bring you more expenses in the long run.So here are three tips which can be a major tip in the maintenance of your car.

First of all you have to make sure to get your car get’s it’s oil changed regularly. The oil can be compared to the blood of the people and without blood the car can’t run well or if the blood is diseased then the car won’t function well. Generally I tell all my customers of my San Diego auto repair shop to make sure to change their oil every 3000 miles. That direction is enough to keep the performance of your car in tip-top shape for a long time.

Another tip which can be very useful for the maintenance of your car is have it go through regular tuneups.  Tune ups are essential for your car because it lets you make sure everything is working fine. You can also change parts of the car which are already worn out. Customers of my San Diego smog check shop who fail their smog test I always tell them to do this. They did not make their cars go through regular tuneups that is why they fail their smog test.

The third tip I woud give is to always maintain the brakes of your car. They are important to maintain not because they are expensive to replace. They are important for the most obvious reasons and that is they keep you from harm’s way.Brakes that are maintained can keep and would keep you away from harm provided you drive safely while malfunctioning brakes can kill you and other people.  I tell my customers of my San Diego brakes shop to always keep their brake fluid good.

Well if you follow these steps you will be going a long way to making sure your car lasts a long time.
